St. Stephen’s English and Adventure Camps and Outdoor Education Centre
Our popular English and Adventure Camps have been running for over 20 years. Alongside these our popular Outdoor Education Centre, Howling Gibbon, provides a service to visiting groups and schools from within Thailand and abroad.
We believe that the ability to improve communication in English often occurs when the learner is fully immersed in the language. We have been using task and project-based learning to encourage learners to communicate in English, as well as having fun whilst studying.
Our native English speaking teachers are experienced and qualified to ensure the students get the most from their time on the camp. Our curricula are designed by qualified and experienced curriculum writers and include a variety of activities for each day, to allow for all ages and abilities to participate fully using real communication.
The camps aim to inspire the students to work together and create their own ideas within the learning environment. Through positive reinforcement the students are encouraged to reflect on how they can develop to the best of their abilities. They also have opportunities to create art and craft works, participate in sport and many other team-building activities. These may include: Next Top Model, a Talent Show, Sports Day, trekking in Khao Yai National Park, a Final Project Exhibition. A final performance is presented to all parents in English on the last day of camp.
Based at our campus in Khao Yai, students stay in a safe and secure environment. We provide the following outstanding facilities:
