Year 9 Trip to Kanchanaburi

Dec 06 2019
Our Year 9 students must be exhausted after their trip to Kanchanaburi. They have visited so many places: a historical park, an archaeological site and ruins, a war cemetery, Hellfire pass, the Death Railway Museum, and of course, The Bridge over the River Kwai. They are learning about the history of the region and by understanding what happened they are developing compassion and empathy for the plight of others.
It also looks as though they made some very tall friends!

One of our students said " In this trip we went to many exciting places. What I liked the most was  Muang Malika, because I've learned many things I didn't previously know about Thailand. Overall, this Kanchanaburi trip was very fun and I wish to go there again."
